Coronation of Cherry Blossom Queen & Grand Ball. A black-tie evening culminating in the introduction of the Cherry Blossom princesses and the coronation of the 2013 Cherry Blossom Queen. 6 p.m.-midnight. $175 per person. Children 12 and younger, $75. Renaissance Washington hotel, 999 Ninth St. NW. Metro: Gallery Place-Chinatown.

Capital Elite Cherry Blossom Sightseeing Cruises. A 45-minute tour around Hains Point aboard a two-level yacht. Cost: $23.21 for adults; $18.75 for children. Southwest Waterfront. Friday-Sunday, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Metro: Waterfront

Boat Tours Along the Blossoms and Monuments. Embark at Georgetown and cruise by the Kennedy Center and D.C. monuments. End up at the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial.
