Annette “Lovey’” Felperin, 84, a longtime Potomac housewife, died May 8 at a hospice in Boca Raton, Fla.
She had cancer, said her son Joe Felperin. Mrs. Felperin had lived for more than four decades in the Washington area, including in Mount Rainier, Lewisdale and Potomac, before retiring to Florida in the early 1990s.
Annette Love Resnick was born in Brooklyn. She was a volunteer coordinator with the March of Dimes in the 1960s and did customer-service work at a women’s clothing store in Rockville in the 1970s and ’80s.
At Beth Torah Congregation in Hyattsville, she was a membership director and sisterhood board member.
Her husband of 60 years, Ira “Bud” Felperin, died in 2010.
Survivors include three sons, Steve Felperin of Boynton Beach, Fla., Joe Felperin of North Bethesda and Rick Felperin of Germantown; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
