Bradford T. Campbell, 49, who owned and operated a Fairfax County-based landscaping business, Arbor Experts, from 1984 to 2005, died April 29 at his longtime companion’s home in Alexandria. He was a Lorton resident.

He had complications from injuries suffered in a 2005 car accident, said his brother, Kent Campbell.

Bradford Thomas Campbell was born in Falls City, Neb., and moved to Alexandria as a teenager. He was a 1982 graduate of Hayfield Secondary School, where he competed in swimming competitions.

He was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church and the National Arborist Association.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Deborah Sullivan of Alexandria; his mother, Mary Campbell of Sterling; a sister; and a brother.
