Clarence L. Boone, the building manager of Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax City, died Dec. 28 at a sister’s home in Gumberry, N.C. He was 65.
The cause was a massive heart attack, said his niece Jennifer Weaver.
Mr. Boone had worked at the school for nearly two decades and previously was employed at National Security Inc., an electronic security firm in Fairfax City where he dispatched requests for police and fire responders.
Clarence Lee Boone was born in Gumberry and settled in the Washington area in the 1970s. He was a Fairfax City resident.
His marriage to Sandra Boone ended in divorce.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Grant Boone of Seaboard, N.C.; three sisters; and three brothers.
