She had Alzheimer’s disease, said a son, Mitch Martin.

She was an Inova Fairfax Hospital volunteer and an elder of Clifton Presbyterian Church.
A longtime Clifton resident, she moved to the Fairfax Nursing Center in December.
Her marriage to John Martin ended in divorce. Survivors include four children, Rand Martin of Sacramento, Mitch Martin and Eric Martin, both of Clifton, and Kristin Bennett of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
