Lorraine Cirina, 83, a secretary for 20 years at the Washington law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius before retiring in 1995, died Jan. 19 at her son’s home in Pleasanton, Calif.

She had small cell lung cancer, said her son, Richard Cirina.

Lorraine Claire Speth was born in New York City. She was a secretary in New York before moving to Washington in 1975.

She was a member of the archives committee at Tilden Gardens cooperative apartments, where she owned a unit. She was Washington area treasurer for the North American Scrabble Players Association.

She continued to live in Washington until a few weeks before her death.

Her marriage to Louis Cirina ended in divorce. A son, Robert Cirina, died in 1986.

Survivors include a son, Richard Cirina of Pleasanton; a sister; and a granddaughter.
