Lucille Frohling, 84, an administrative assistant in Washington with what then was Price Waterhouse accounting and consulting, and Elizabeth Arden spa and salon, died Dec. 23 at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington after a stroke. She was a District resident.

A niece, Anne Fenton, confirmed the death.

Lucille Helen Joan Frohling was born in Princeton, N.J. She moved to Washington in the mid-1950s and retired about 15 years ago from Elizabeth Arden after having been an administrative assistant for 30 years.

She was also an actress and a member of the Screen Actors Guild. She had bit parts in movies filmed in the Washington area and roles in area stage productions, including Arena Stage. She had done volunteer work with Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include a daughter from a relationship, Diane Daniels of Durham, N.C.; three sisters; and three brothers.
