Mildred V. Graham, sales associate, dies at 98

Mildred V. Graham, who worked as a sales associate at Sears Roebuck in Washington for more than two decades, died March 3 at the Bradford Oaks nursing and rehabilitation center in Clinton, Md. She was 98.

The cause was a heart attack, said her daughter-in-law, Beverly Graham.

Mrs. Graham, a Temple Hills resident, joined Sears Roebuck in 1956.

Mildred Virginia McKimmey was born in Lovettsville, Va., and moved to the Washington region in 1940.

She was a member of the Eastern Star masonic organization; the Montgomery Cedarettes, an auxiliary of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Masonic organization; and Providence United Methodist Church in Fort Washington, Md.

Her husband of 68 years, Leslie Graham Sr., died in 2003. Survivors include two sons, Leslie Graham Jr. of Potomac and George Graham of Lothian, Md.; a sister; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
