Robert F. Corazzini, a lawyer whose specialties included cable television systems and satellite and land-based communications carriers, died Jan. 22 at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda. He was 77.
He had congestive heart failure, said his daughter, Lisa Corazzini.
Mr. Corazzini, a resident of Potomac, Md., retired in 2003 from the Washington law firm of Womble Carlyle Sandbridge & Rice. He began his legal career with Smith & Pepper and later became a partner in Pepper & Corazzini, which subsequently merged into Womble Carlyle.
Mr. Corazzini was a director of Southern Satellite Systems for nine years.
Robert Frank Corazzini was born in Greenport, N.Y., and was a 1953 graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Md. He graduated from Georgetown University’s law school in 1961.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Schwilk Corazzini, and a daughter, Lisa Corazzini, both of Potomac; and a granddaughter.
