RuthAnn Kozlowski, a former nurse at the Leisure World clinic in Silver Spring and at what then was Bethesda Naval Hospital, died Dec. 18 at her home in Olney, Md. She was 73.

The cause was Parkinson’s disease, said her daughter Dynnelle Fields.

RuthAnn Edna Brace was born in Detroit, where she was a 1962 nursing graduate of Wayne State University.

In 1977, she moved to the Washington area after having worked at hospitals around the country, including in Detroit, San Diego, Seattle and Long Beach, Calif.

She worked at Leisure World for 10 years and at Bethesda Naval for two years before retiring in the 1990s.

Mrs. Kozlowski was an usher at Olney Theatre and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Olney.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Stanley C. Kozlowski of Olney; three daughters, Dynnelle Fields of Framingham, Mass., Julie Berry of Arlington and Trisha Rudnick of Olney; a sister; a brother; and seven grandchildren.
