One person killed in two-car crash in Northeast D.C.

A two-car crash in Northeast Washington on Sunday morning killed one person, police said.

Police did not have information on the age or gender of the person killed. Police were investigating the cause of the crash, which took place at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Sargent Road, on the border between the District and Maryland, at about 7:45 a.m.
