Plane landing at Reagan blows tire

A plane arriving from Minneapolis blew a tire as it landed at Reagan National Airport at 10: 30 a.m. Saturday and had to be towed to the gate, authorities said.

None of the 160 passengers on board Delta 1464 was injured, and the airport continued to operate normally Saturday afternoon, according to spokespeople for Delta and the airport. The passengers were allowed to get off the plane after it was towed to the gate, an airport spokesman said.
