Limping dog rescued: 3700 block, Gull Rd., Temple Hills, Feb. 22. Animal management received a call regarding a stray dog that was found limping and running loose. An officer picked up the 10-year-old black female miniature pinscher. When not claimed, the dog was sent to a rescue group March 1.

Well-groomed dog loose: 4500 block, Dallas Pl., Temple Hills, Feb. 23. A woman reported seeing a stray dog on her patio. She said that the dog was not wearing a collar but appeared to be well taken care of. An animal control officer removed the 7-year-old white male Parson Russell terrier. The dog was reunited with its owner Feb. 27.

Dog goes back home: 11000 block, Winsford Ave., Upper Marlboro, Feb. 24. A woman reported holding a stray dog that she saw running around her yard. An animal control officer picked up the 7-year-old male Labrador retriever and chow chow mix. The dog was reunited with its owner March 1.

Aggressive Parson Russell terrier in yard: 9400 block, Brandywine Rd., Clinton, Feb. 24. A man reported seeing a small dog on his property. He said the dog was aggressive when approached. An animal control officer removed the 14-year-old white Parson Russell terrier. The dog was reunited with its owner that day.

Dog loose at Amish market: 5000 block, Brown Station Rd., Upper Marlboro, Feb. 25. Animal management received a report about a stray dog running loose in the parking lot of a property that houses an Amish market. An animal control officer picked up a 1-year-old black male pointer and American bulldog mix. The dog was reunited with its owner Feb. 28.

National Harbor pet adoption event: The Black Dog and the Washington Humane Society will host a dog and cat adoption day March 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. at its National Harbor store, 137 National Plaza. Cat and dog adoption event: The Prince George’s County SPCA/
