Sedgewick Pl., 2500 block, 2:15 a.m. July 29. A man demanded property from a male pedestrian, then hit him on the head with a handgun and robbed him of a cellphone and a wallet containing cash.

Waterway and Country Club drives, 1:45 a.m. July 28. A gunman demanded money from a male pedestrian, who fled.


Chesapeake Dr., 3100 block, 10:52 a.m. July 28. Two men entered a residence by breaking a rear window. Nothing was reported stolen. A 27-year-old Dumfries man and a 20-year-old Fairfax man were arrested.


Heythorpe Ct., 13600 block, 4:10 a.m. July 26. A male intruder was in the back yard of a residence when two residents saw him. The man entered a neighbor’s open garage, and the residents confronted and attempted to detain him. The man assaulted them and fled on foot. A 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old Gainesville woman were arrested.


Golden Leaf Cir. area, July 24. A man sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance during the past two years. A 31-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Sharpsburg Ct. area, July 22. Two men sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance over several years. One of the men also sexually assaulted a woman. A 42-year-old Woodbridge man and a 34-year-old Manassas man were arrested.


Juliet Lane, 8000 block, 3:55 a.m. July 28. Several gunshots were heard.


Automotive Dr., 10600 block, 9 p.m. July 28 to 10:30 a.m. July 29. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a side door and several interior doors.


Dillingham Sq., 12400 block, 4:40 p.m. July 28. A man in a parking lot grabbed a woman’s chest, then fled in a vehicle.

Lexington Ct. area, July 28. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance while she was sleeping. A 25-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Rainbow Court and Bancroft Lane area, July 25. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance when she was a juvenile in the 1990s. A 50-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Belleville Ave., 14300 block, 11 p.m. July 23. During an argument, two women assaulted another woman, who was hit in the face and torso with a metal pipe. The woman was treated for injuries. Two Woodbridge women, 33 and 34, were arrested.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13700 block, 2:27 a.m. July 28. During a fight in a parking lot, a man attempted to drive away. Someone fired a weapon at the vehicle, injuring the man in the head. He drove himself to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries.

Potomac Mills Rd., 14300 block, 1:06 a.m. July 29. During a fight, a man stabbed another man with a knife. The injured man was taken to a hospital. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Sutton Pl., 16600 block, 7:36 p.m. July 22. A group of men assaulted a male acquaintance and a woman who had attempted to intervene. Two Woodbridge men, 22 and 24, and a 22-year-old Springfield man were arrested.


Gina Pl., 3200 block, 1:40 a.m. July 26. Someone fired a weapon at a residence, damaging a kitchen cabinet.


G St., 12:04 a.m. July 31. A man exposed himself to a female juvenile acquaintance.


Aztec Pl., 12300 block, 2:29 a.m. July 29. A man entered a residence through an unlocked front door. He fled with a laptop computer when a resident found him in the kitchen.

Cardin Pl., 15100 block, 3 to 4:30 p.m. July 23. A handgun and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Dyers Mills Ct., 2600 block, 5:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. July 30. Items were stolen from a residence entered by prying a front door.

Emberdale Ct., 14800 block, 2 to 8 p.m. July 23. Someone attempted to enter a residence by tampering with a front door.

Island House Loop, 12800 block, 3:57 a.m. July 29. A man attempted to enter a residence by forcing a rear door. He fled when a resident saw him.

Mayflower Dr., 2000 block, 12:45 to 2:30 a.m. July 26. A handgun was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

Rockinghorse Dr., 14100 block, 3 p.m. July 18 to 3:45 p.m. July 23. A video game system and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement window.

Woodside Dr., 1600 block, 10:13 p.m. July 26. Cash was stolen from a business.

York Dr., 2000 block, 11:30 a.m. July 24. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door. Three men fled from the residence when a resident returned home.


Darbydale Ave., 14800 block, 3:30 p.m. July 26 to 8 a.m. July 27. A sign in front of a school was damaged.

Owens Dr., 9100 block, 5 p.m. July 20 to 1:30 p.m. July 23. Welding equipment was stolen from two vehicles in a fenced area of a business.
