ASSAULTS

Main St., 17800 block, 1:43 a.m. April 13. A man forcibly entered a residence and attempted to assault a girl. A 43-year-old Dumfries man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cherry Hill Rd., 1500 block, 3:50 a.m. April 14. Four men fled from a boat with a CB radio when the boat’s owner approached them.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Canova Dr., 12800 block, 2 p.m. April 15. During an argument, a girl assaulted a female acquaintance. A 17-year-old Manassas girl was arrested.

Lake Dr., 7400 block, 5:31 p.m. April 14. After a man hit a mailbox with a vehicle, he swung a machete at two male acquaintances. A 39-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Woodland Dr., 18400 block, 3 to 10 p.m. April 13. Cash, a laptop, jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
WEAPONS

Darbydale Ave., 14800 block, 3:56 p.m. April 11. A male student outside a school fired an air-soft gun several times at the ground. Another student was hit in the leg, leaving a minor mark. A 14-year-old Woodbridge boy was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Hillendale Dr. and Haddock Rd., 9:27 p.m. April 12. A gunman demanded a wallet and marijuana from a man, who fled. The gunman chased the man and fired a shotgun at him. Two 20-year-old Woodbridge men were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Horizon Ct., 2000 block, 8:15 to 11 p.m. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Maple Leaf Lane, 13300 block, 1:35 a.m. April 16. An attempt was made to enter a residence by kicking a door.
