Wetherburn Ct., 2900 block, 7 a.m. to 3:44 p.m. Aug. 6. Cash and shoes were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.


Crackling Fire Dr., 8200 block, 8:45 to 9:15 p.m. July 30. A dirt bike was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage.


Ashton Ave. and Sudley Manor Dr., 9:45 p.m. July 30. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance, knocking her to the ground. She was treated for injuries. A 42-year-old Manassas man was arrested.


Streamwalk Lane, 7600 block, 12:41 a.m. Aug. 4. Several phones were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.


Wharf Lane, 3600 block, 3:06 a.m. Aug. 3. During a fight among four acquaintances, an unknown male approached and shot one of them, then fled. The injured man was taken to a hospital.


Putnam Cir., 13100 block, Aug. 3. A 30-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with raping a female acquaintance, a 24-year-old woman of no fixed address.


Azalea Lane, 1700 block, 10:09 p.m. Aug. 6. During an argument, a man pushed a female acquaintance onto a bed and choked her until she lost consciousness. The woman was treated for injuries. A 19-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Potomac Mills Rd., 14300 block, 3:49 p.m. July 31. During an argument in a parking lot, a man pointed a handgun at two male acquaintances. The three fought. The gunman was treated for injuries. A 42-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Cardin Pl., 15000 block, 5:47 a.m. Aug. 6. During an argument, a man fired a handgun several times at a male acquaintance. A 28-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Worth Ave., 14000 block, 4:54 p.m. Aug. 5. A man in a store put a mirror on the bottom of a shopping cart and followed a woman through the store, attempting to look up her dress. When the woman looked at him, he made inappropriate gestures at her. A 40-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Chanceford Dr., 11900 block, July 30 to July 31. Two golf carts were driven around a golf course causing damage. One cart was driven into a tree.

Cotton Mill Rd., 12300 block, Aug. 6 to 7. A golf cart was driven and damaged. The golf course was also damaged. An attempt was made to enter a shed.

Gideon Blvd., 14300 block, 3:37 a.m. Aug. 2. Two masked people entered a gas station by breaking a front glass door and stole cigarettes.

John Robinson Lane, 3200 block, 12:42 a.m. Aug. 3. A man entered a female acquaintance’s residence by forcing a front door. He woke her and demanded that she drive him to Triangle Shopping Plaza. She complied. A 38-year-old man was arrested.

Kaywood Dr., 13700 block, 8:30 to 9 p.m. Aug. 7. Two video game systems, video game equipment and other items were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Meridian Dr., 14400 block, 2:13 p.m. Aug. 2. A male juvenile entered a residence by breaking a rear door. A resident returned home and saw the juvenile jump over a back fence with a backpack. The resident confronted the juvenile, who dropped the bag and fled. A 15-year-old Woodbridge male was arrested.

Minnieville Rd., 13000 block, 7 p.m. Aug. 1 to noon Aug. 2. Two dirt bikes were stolen from a business entered through a side garage door.

Opitz Blvd., 2600 block, 3:42 a.m. Aug. 6. A man entered a business and was on the roof when police arrived. A 28-year-old man was arrested.

Sulky Ct., 12500 block, 10:30 a.m. Aug. 2 to 7 p.m. Aug. 4. A TV, a computer and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

Mathis Ave., 9100 block, 2 p.m. July 31. Three people in a grocery store assaulted a male employee. The employee was treated for injuries.


Lamont Ct., 8600 block, 9 a.m. Aug. 5. A stereo and change were stolen from a vehicle entered by unzipping the soft top.

Maury Lane, 9800 block, 4:30 p.m. Aug. 1 and Richmond and Fairview avenues, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2. During each incident, a man stole a cellphone from a cab driver. A 23-year-old Fort Washington, Md., man was arrested.

Prince William St., 9100 block, 1:20 a.m. Aug. 7. A purse was stolen from a vehicle in a parking garage. A 24-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Weems Rd., 8600 block, July 22 to Aug. 3. Cash, video game systems and video games were stolen from a residence.


Traveller St., 8900 block, 11 p.m. Aug. 4 to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 5. A 1994 Ford Ranger was stolen. It was later recovered.
