THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dry Powder Cir., 3300 block, 8:10 a.m. Sept. 16. A male attempted to enter a residence by cutting a bedroom window screen. When a resident opened the blinds, he fled.

Fortuna Center Plaza, 4300 block, 11 p.m. Sept. 15 to 3:38 a.m. Sept. 16. Several computer tablets and an MP3 player were stolen from a store entered by breaking a glass front door.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 17000 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 12 to 3:15 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash was stolen from two businesses entered by breaking glass front doors.

Victory Gallop Way, 13400 block, Sept. 12 to 10 a.m. Sept. 13. Golf clubs were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a screen door.

ASSAULTS

Rokeby Dr., 7400 block, 1:20 a.m. Sept. 16. During an argument, a man attempted to strangle a female acquaintance. A 30-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Soldiers Ridge Cir., 11200 block, 5:59 p.m. Sept. 15. Two men robbed three male acquaintances, all of Front Royal, of cash, a cellphone and other property at gunpoint, then fled in a vehicle belonging to one of the males. The vehicle was found on Keara Ct.

Sudley Rd., 7800 block, noon Sept. 16. A man in a bank parking lot attempted to pepper-spray a male customer leaving the bank. He knocked the customer to the ground, took a backpack containing cash and fled on a bike.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Pointer Lane, 8100 block, 8:30 to 10:20 p.m. Sept. 14. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Westchester Dr., 8900 block, 3:15 a.m. Sept. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence by pushing in a window.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Bayside Ave., 1200 block, 4:36 p.m. Sept. 16. During an argument at a residence, a man assaulted a female acquaintance who was treated for injuries. A 33-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Featherstone Rd., 1500 block, 11:44 p.m. Sept. 13. A man in a store argued with an employee then wielded a knife and injured the employee. A 23-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Golf Side Cir., 3600 block, 9:22 p.m. Sept. 13. During an argument at a residence, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. A 29-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Cloverdale Rd., 14200 block, 9:10 p.m. Sept. 17. Two males entered a back yard of a residence and demanded property from two men at gunpoint. They ordered the men inside the residence and robbed them of property, then fled.

Easy St., 1200 block, 11:11 p.m. Sept. 13. A group of men assaulted a male pedestrian and searched his pockets, demanding money. They fled empty-handed when a vehicle approached.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14600 block, 7:09 a.m. Sept. 12. A man approached a vehicle while a male motorist was sleeping in a front seat. When the motorist woke up, the man threatened him, took a purse that was inside and fled in a vehicle. The motorist followed him and called police. A 23-year-old Laurel, Md., man was arrested.

Alabama Ave., 14800 block, 6:15 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. Sept. 13. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

Big Crest Lane, 14700 block, 12:30 to 11:40 p.m. Sept. 16. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a front door.

Calloway Ct., 3100 block, 6:45 a.m. to 10:48 p.m. Sept. 13. A TV, a laptop computer and other electronics were stolen from a residence entered by damaging a front door.

Gableridge Turn, 1800 block, 9 a.in a m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 16. A video game system and games were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

Garber Way, 2800 block, 3:44 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a business entered by breaking a glass front door.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14300 block, 3:15 a.m. Sept. 13. Cash was stolen from two businesses entered by breaking glass front doors.

Tassleford Lane, 15700 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 14 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17. Cash, a laptop computer, jewelry and sunglasses were stolen from a residence entered by cutting a screen in a window.

Old Centreville Rd., 8:26 p.m. Sept. 14. A person was hit in the head with a bottle. A 34-year-old Manassas Park man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

White Pine Dr., 8200 block, 7 to 8:15 a.m. Sept. 13. A handgun and jewelry were stolen from a residence. A 19-year-old Manassas Park man and three male juveniles, 15, 16 and 17, were arrested.

VANDALISM

Lapaz Pl. and Burnside Ct., 4 p.m. Sept. 12 to 6:15 a.m. Sept. 13. A window of a vehicle was broken.
