Columbia Springs Way and Falling Water Dr., 3:55 p.m. March 22. One of two men assaulted a third man after he voluntarily entered their vehicle. The assailant took cash from the man’s pocket. The robbers fled in the vehicle after the man got out.


Old Stage Rd., 16900 block, March 26. A 33-year-old Falls Church man was arrested in connection with the rape of a female juvenile acquaintance.


Stewart Lane, 3600 block, 1:06 a.m. March 23. A group of men confronted a male juvenile at a residence. One of the men shot the juvenile in the leg. The juvenile was treated for injuries. An 18-year-old man was arrested.


Edgewood Dr., 16500 block, 7:30 p.m. March 2 to 8:30 a.m. March 23. A shop was entered by forcing a front door. A vending machine was damaged. Nothing was reported stolen.


Lomond Dr., March 21. A man reportedly sexually assaulted two female juveniles during the past few years. A 40-year-old Manassas man was arrested.


Edgepark Cir., 11000 block, 5:35 p.m. March 20. A man knocked on a front door of a residence, then assaulted a male acquaintance who answered the door. As the two continued to fight outside, a relative of the assailant entered the residence and took several pairs of tennis shoes. An 18-year-old Nokesville man was arrested.

New Market Ct., 7100 block, Feb. 26. A female director of a day-care facility allegedly assaulted two children. A 39-year-old Haymarket woman was arrested.


Ranger Loop, 1400 block, 8:40 a.m. March 26. A man in an apartment complex hallway exposed himself to a woman.


Dumfries Rd., 10600 block, 12:30 p.m. March 22 to 6:50 a.m. March 24. Several state vehicle inspection stickers were stolen from a business entered by breaking a window pane of a rear door.

Sudley Rd., 8300 block, 1:20 a.m. March 24. Costume jewelry was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.


Potomac Mills Cir. and Nazarene Way, 9:29 p.m. March 20. A man approached a woman standing next to her vehicle and asked for directions. He then grabbed the woman and began to choke her. They both fell, and he continued to assault her. He demanded her car keys and attempted to force her into the back seat of the vehicle. After a struggle, the man fled.


Photo Dr., 13500 block, 11:46 p.m. March 22. A man entered a residence through a front door. A male resident and an acquaintance confronted the man and detained him until police arrived. A 30-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Winona Way, 12000 block, 6 p.m. March 18 to 8:20 a.m. March 19. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a side door.

Mathis Ave., 9000 block, 5:45 p.m. March 19. A man grabbed a female acquaintance’s purse and ran into a residence through a back yard. When the woman shouted, he returned the purse to her. A 20-year-old Manassas man was arrested.
