Lyda Lane, 17800 block, 1 p.m. July 4 to 6:30 a.m. July 5. A weapon was fired and damaged an awning at a residence. No injuries were reported.


Flatstick Ct., 17200 block, noon July 1 to 7:15 a.m. July 2. A dishwasher was stolen from a residence under construction.

Montview Dr., 15600 block, 2 to 4 p.m. July 8. Two safes containing cash were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.


Kimberwick Ct., 6700 block, 5 a.m. June 19 to 12:30 p.m. June 30. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Village Stream Pl., 6900 block, 4 p.m. July 3 to 12:17 a.m. July 5. Cash was stolen from a residence.


Popes Creek Pl., 6000 block, 12:24 a.m. July 7. Several people wearing masks entered a residence, tied up three residents and took a handgun, cash, electronics and jewelry.


Coverstone Dr., 10900 block, 5 p.m. July 9. During an argument, a woman assaulted a male acquaintance and attempted to stab him with a pair of scissors. A 31-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

Meadow Ct., 7900 block, 12:10 p.m. July 5. Three men assaulted a male pedestrian, who was hit with a glass bottle and a lawn ornament.


Clemson Ct., 7500 block, 11:57 p.m. June 26. A male juvenile demanded money from a man at gunpoint. When the man said he had no money, the juvenile took other property. A 17-year-old Manassas juvenile and a 24-year-old Chantilly man were arrested.

Rodes Dr. and Seibels Way, 12:06 a.m. July 6. Two men robbed a female pedestrian of a purse at knifepoint.

Sudley Rd., 8300 block, 10 p.m. July 2. Two men asked a woman for her cellphone. When she refused, one of the men pulled out a knife and robbed her of the phone.


Impala Dr., 8400 block, 3:51 a.m. July 7. A vacant residence was entered by forcing a rear door.

Sudley Rd., 7900 block, 12:24 a.m. July 5. Cash and a computer modem were stolen from an office.

Sudley Rd., 8300 block, 10 p.m. July 2. A man attempted to enter a business by breaking a window. A 21-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Pier Trail Dr., 18700 block, 4 to 11:20 p.m. July 3. A bullet hole was found in a bathroom of a residence. No injuries were reported.


Cloverdale Rd., 15000 block, 11:44 p.m. July 9. Police officers found a man stabbed in the chest on the front yard of a residence. Alvin Elroy Cannon, 44, of Woodbridge was taken to a hospital, where he died. A second man was treated for a stab wound. A 31-year-old man was arrested.


Forestdale Ave. area, July 7. A man sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance. A 40-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Jefferson Davis Hwy. and River Ridge Blvd., 1:18 a.m. June 25. A male motorist followed a vehicle occupied by two acquaintances, a man and a woman. When the driver of the second vehicle slowed for a traffic light, the motorist hit the rear of the vehicle and drove away.A 25-year-old Fairfax man was arrested.

Keelingwood Cir., 13700 block, July 2. A woman repeatedly hit a female juvenile acquaintance with her hands and a belt. A 40-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested.

Kingswell and Kimbrough drives, 6:24 a.m. July 4. A male juvenile allegedly shot a male acquaintance, who was treated for injuries. A 16-year-old Woodbridge youth was arrested.

Oakland Ct., 6300 block, 5:18 p.m. July 8. During an argument, a man allegedly assaulted a female acquaintance and threatened her with a knife. A 29-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Plain Dealing Pl., 15600 block, 11:58 p.m. July 4. During an argument, a male juvenile allegedly assaulted a male acquaintance, cutting him with a knife. A 15-year-old Woodbridge youth was arrested.

Potomac Mills Rd., 14600 block, 4:03 a.m. July 9. During an argument, a man allegedly assaulted a female acquaintance and prevented her from leaving the area. When she attempted to call police, he broke her phone.

Potomac Vista Ave., 1200 block, 7:44 p.m. July 5. A man was hit with a baseball bat and was treated at a hospital.

Smallwood Ct., 5600 block, 11:02 p.m. July 4. During an argument, a woman allegedly assaulted a female acquaintance. A 32-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested.

Trowbridge Dr., 13200 block, 7:08 p.m. July 6. The driver of a vehicle occupied by three people pulled into a gas station, blocking the driver of another vehicle. The occupants of both vehicles argued. The driver of the first vehicle left and returned with a fourth person. After arguing again, the driver of the first vehicle returned with a fifth person. The five people assaulted the two occupants of the other vehicle. Five Woodbridge males, 41, 23, 19, 18 and 17, were arrested.


Colchester Rd. and East Longview Dr., 3:45 p.m. July 7. Three males got out of a vehicle driven by a woman and robbed a male juvenile pedestrian of a cellphone.

Darbydale Ave., 14700 block, 2:15 a.m. July 8. A masked gunman robbed a convenience store of cash and cigarettes.

Penbury Ct., 2600 block, 6:23 a.m. July 3. Two men and a woman, implying they had a weapon, robbed a male pedestrian of cash.


Braddock Dr., 3400 block, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. July 2. A residence was entered by breaking a rear glass door. Nothing was reported missing.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14500 block, 11 a.m. July 6 to 5:50 a.m. July 7. Cash and several cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a business entered by breaking a window.
