Logmill Rd., 4500 block, 10:11 p.m. Aug. 12. During an argument, a woman assaulted a female acquaintance. A male attempted to intervene and the woman stabbed him in the arm with a kitchen knife. The man and the acquaintance were treated for injuries. A 32-year-old Gainesville woman was arrested.


Ashby Grove Loop, 6400 block, 11:45 p.m. Aug. 4 to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 5. A video game system was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement door. Several watches also were stolen from the residence between 7:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. July 31.


Community Dr. area, 5:30 a.m. Aug. 9. A man entered a residence and touched a female juvenile acquaintance who had been asleep. A 37-year-old Manassas man was arrested and charged in connection with the break-in.

Wild Ginger Cir., 10900 block, 6 p.m. Aug. 6 to 8 a.m. Aug. 8. A handgun was stolen from a residence.


Center Entrance Dr., 12900 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 11 to 4:45 a.m. Aug. 12. Exterior walls, windows and doors of a religious institution were spray-painted. A rear side door also was damaged.


Deville Dr., 10500 block, 10:42 p.m. Aug. 9. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. She was treated for injuries.


Kilmer Lane, 18100 block, 2:47 a.m. Aug. 8. A gunman fired a weapon near two pedestrians and searched their pockets. Nothing was reported stolen, and no injuries were reported.


Endsley Turn, 14700 block, 8:18 p.m. Aug. 6. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance and took her cellphone. The woman was treated for injuries.


Worth Ave., 14000 block, 6:49 p.m. Aug. 7. Two children were left alone for about 40 minutes in a vehicle parked in a store parking lot. A 38-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Allspice Ct., 12200 block, 10:30 p.m. Aug. 8. Three males robbed three men at gunpoint of cash, a wallet and a cellphone. One of the robbers hit one of the men in the face with a handgun. About 15 minutes later, a gunman robbed a fourth man of a cellphone.

Mapledale Ave. and Miles Ct., 1:58 a.m. Aug. 13. A man asked to use a male pedestrian’s phone, and another man assaulted the pedestrian. The two took his wallet and phone.

Penshurst Lane, 3900 block, 9:16 p.m. Aug. 6. Two men assaulted a male acquaintance, who was hit with a handgun, which fired. No one was hit. The two men then took a firearm belonging to the acquaintance and fled. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. The next morning, the injured man and a male acquaintance confronted one of the assailants at a residence in the 15000 block of Ashdale Circle. The two showed weapons, then fled when another person called police. Two Woodbridge men, 18 and 21, a Dumfries man, 23, and a Manassas man, 24, were arrested.


Augustus Ct., 12900 block, 12:05 p.m. Aug. 6. A woman forcibly entered a residence and assaulted a resident.

Bacon Race Rd., 11400 block, 12:43 a.m. Aug. 11. Three males entered a residence through a rear basement door and demanded property from the occupants at gunpoint. They fled empty-handed.

Forestdale Ave., 3600 block, 10:45 a.m. to 12:19 p.m. Aug. 8. Cash and prescription medicine were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.

Galapagos Pl., 15000 block, 2:18 a.m. Aug. 10. A man forcibly entered a residence, assaulted an acquaintance and damaged a wall and other property. A 28-year-old Glen Burnie, Md., man was arrested.

Golden Ct., 14000 block, 11:53 p.m. Aug. 9. Two gunmen entered a residence through an unlocked door. They forced four occupants to enter an upstairs bedroom, where the robbers searched the room. One of the gunmen hit an occupant with a handgun, which fired. No one was hit, and nothing was reported taken.

Overleigh Dr., 11500 block, 8 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 12. An attempt was made to enter a residence through an unlocked rear window.
