THEFT/BREAK-IN

Diamond Hill Dr., 8700 block, midnight to noon Aug. 31. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a front window.

DUMFRIES AREA
ASSAULTS

Chesapeake Dr., 3100 block, 10:45 p.m. Aug. 31. Durng an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance.

Inlet Pl. and Spring Branch Blvd., 1:24 a.m. Aug. 29. During an argument, a man attempted to hit a male relative with a bat. The relative was able to take the bat away. The man then threatened the relative with a BB gun. A Woodbridge man, 37, was arrested.

ROBBERY

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 17300 block, 2:52 a.m. Sept. 6. A man entered a store by breaking a glass door. He fled with food and cigarettes.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Possum Point Rd., 18300 block, 11 a.m. Aug. 17 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 24. Cash and power tools were stolen from a residence.

Toms River Loop, 16900 block, 2:45 a.m. Sept. 1. Four males kicked open a front door of a residence, then fled without entering.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Stonewall Shops Sq., 7900 block, 6:39 p.m. Sept. 1. A man exposed himself and made obscene gestures to a woman. He fled when she confronted him. A Washington, Md., man, 26, was arrested.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Battleview Pkwy., 10800 block, 5:25 a.m. Sept. 4. A man forced a female acquaintance into a vehicle and drove her to a hotel. He pulled out a weapon and assaulted her. The woman was able to get away. The man chased her and a bystander intervened and confronted him. The man went to another hotel and confronted an acquaintance of the woman. He pulled out a knife and the two struggled. A Woodbridge man, 27, was arrested.

Portwood Turn, 8000 block, 9:06 p.m. Aug. 30. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance, then assaulted a male acquaintance of the woman. The two men struggled and the first man was stabbed in the lower body. The man was treated for injuries. A Woodbridge man, 38, was arrested.

Stoney Lane, 8400 block, 5:08 p.m. Sept. 3. During an argument, three men assaulted two acquaintances, a man and a woman. When one of the acquaintances pulled out a firearm, the three fled. A Woodbridge man, 22, a Manassas man, 18, and a Fairfax man, 19, were arrested.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Monocacy Way, 10700 block, 2 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3. A TV, a video game system and games were stolen from a residence.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Black Forest Lane, 12700 block, 2:03 a.m. Sept. 4. Two groups of men at a restaurant were involved in an argument that escalated. One of the men retrieved a gun from his vehicle and fired a shot into the air. A second man forcibly entered a residence in the 4600 block of Montego Dr. and confronted a resident at gunpoint. Five Woodbridge men, 28, 31, 32, 34 and 35, and a Charlotte, man, 49, were arrested.

Bridgeton Ct., 3000 block, 2:10 a.m. Sept. 3. During an argument, a man and a woman struggled. The man damaged the woman’s phone when she attempted to call the police. A Woodbridge man, 23, was arrested.

Daisy Reid Ave., 4400 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 3. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance and would not let her leave a bedroom of a residence. A Woodbridge man, 36, was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Hylton Ave., 1500 block, 1:22 a.m. Sept. 5. A gunman demanded property from another man, then fled empty-handed.

Wakewater Way, 2700 block, 1:46 p.m. Sept. 2. A gunman robbed a man of a belt. A Woodbridge man, 22, was arrested.

CARJACKING

Cardinal and Waterway drives, 9:49 p.m. Sept. 4. Two women entered a Lyft vehicle in Spotsylvania County and were driven to Woodbridge, where one of the women pulled out a handgun and ordered the driver to take them to another location. The driver was able to exit and call police. The women fled on foot. Two women, 18 and 21, were arrested.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Foulger Sq., 14000 block, 5:30 p.m. Sept. 3. A man in a store exposed himself and made obscene gestures to a female juvenile. When a female relative of the juvenile confronted the man, he assaulted her.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Brier Pond Cir., 2700 block, noon Aug. 30 to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 31. Cash, a firearm, a laptop computer, jewelry and other electronics were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement window.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14100 block, 11:15 p.m. Sept. 1 to 8:30 a.m. Sept. 2. A building was entered through a roof hatch. Nothing was reported stolen.

Lutz Ct., 15000 block, 10 to 11 p.m. Sept. 2. Several firearms were stolen from a residence.

Quebec Pl., 5200 block, 8 a.m. to 5:50 p.m. Aug. 31. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a basement window.

Ridgedale Dr., 5700 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Two gunmen entered a residence and argued with a male acquaintance. Nothing was reported stolen and minor injuries were reported. A Woodbridge man, 30, was arrested.
