DUMFRIES AREA
ARRESTS

Hampstead Ridge Ct., 17600 block, 5:17 p.m. July 1. A 35-year-old Dumfries woman was arrested and charged with felony child neglect.

Pine Bluff Dr., 3300 block, 7:22 p.m. July 3. A 22-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and public intoxication.

ROBBERY

River Heritage Blvd., 3100 block, 6:11 a.m. July 1. A masked man shattered a glass door at a gas station, entered the business and demanded cash at knifepoint.

SHOOTING

Porters Inn Dr., 16900 block, 1 p.m. June 30 to 10:15 a.m. July 2. A bullet entered the driver’s side door of a vehicle. No injuries or other damage was reported.

GAINESVILLE AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Prices Cove Pl., 7200 block, 9:30 a.m. June 28. Video surveillance showed two people entering several unlocked vehicles at a residence and entering an attached garage. A vehicle inside the garage was rummaged through.

MANASSAS AREA
ARRESTS

Custer Ct., 8500 block, 12:18 p.m. June 29. A 31-year-old Manassas man was arrested charged with malicious wounding.

Lomond Ct., 7900 block, 2:39 a.m. June 30. A 27-year-old Aldie man was arrested after he entered a residence and was confronted by an occupant inside. The Aldie man was charged with burglary.

Shallow Creek Loop, 9900 block, 4:24 a.m. July 1. A 28-year-old Manassas man was arrested after he entered an unlocked residence. A resident confronted and detained the intruder until police arrived.

ROBBERY

Blendia Lane, 10600 block, 5:51 p.m. July 2. A man was getting out of his vehicle when two males assaulted and robbed him of a wallet and cellphone.

TRIANGLE AREA
ARREST

Kilmer Lane, 18100 block, 3:02 a.m. June 30. A 23-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with child endangerment, domestic assault and battery, destruction of property, felony eluding, driving on a revoked license, and disregarding a traffic signal stemming from a domestic incident that escalated.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Windsor Rd., 19100 block, 11 a.m. June 26 to 1 p.m. June 28. A television, a gaming console, a laptop and tablets were among property stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ARRESTS

Woodbridge area, 12:57 p.m. June 29. A 30-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile female family member. He was charged with aggravated sexual battery.

Worth Ave., 13000 block, 12:38 p.m. July 2. A 27-year-old Broad Run man was arrested and charged with unlawful wounding.

SHOOTING

Filarete St., 14400 block, 2:45 p.m. July 2. A man was involved in an altercation and was shot in the upper body. The man was flown to a hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Police report the incident does not appear to be random.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Bayside Ave., 1400 block, 9:59 p.m. July 2. A woman inside a residence reported seeing a man looking through the blinds. He exposed himself, made an obscene gesture and fled.

Kristin Ct., 14100 block, 6 p.m. June 29. A 44-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested after he exposed himself to a woman at an apartment complex community pool and made an obscene gesture. He was charged with indecent exposure and three counts of obscene sexual display.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

California St., 1400 block, midnight to 6:51 p.m. July 1. A wallet and cellphone were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.
