ARREST

Dumfries Rd., 17000 block, 10:20 p.m. July 28. A 44-year-old Dumfries man was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery.

RECKLESS HANDLING OF A FIREARM

Beachwater Ct. and Spring Branch Blvd., 2:55 a.m. Aug. 2. Shots were reported fired in the area. No injuries or property damage were reported.

MANASSAS AREA
ARREST

Trails End Ct., 13100 block, 12:26 a.m. July 30. A 20-year-old Manassas man was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ARRESTS

Brier Pond Cir., 2700 block, 11:20 a.m. July 22. A 36-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with strangulation.

Chesapeake Dr., 3100 block, 7:45 a.m. July 29. A 54-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with object sexual penetration, sodomy, and public intoxication.

Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Cardinal Dr., July 28. A 41-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested and charged with abduction of a 7-year-old boy and domestic assault and battery.

Lord Culpeper Ct., 15300 block, 12:11 a.m. July 28. A 35-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding.

Minnieville Rd., 14100 block, 12:32 a.m. Aug. 1. A 53-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with sexual battery.

Minnieville Rd., 14400 block, 1:59 p.m. Aug. 1. A 23-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with robbery, attempted robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Woodbridge area, 11:36 p.m. July 27. A 41-year-old Fort Washington man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration.

Woodbridge area, July 30. A 34-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested and charged with abduction, burglary, domestic assault and battery, and destruction of property.

ASSAULTS

Anderson St., 14700 block, 5:34 a.m. July 28. A Woodbridge man threatened an acquaintance with a machete. The acquaintance escaped.

Powells Creek Blvd. and Dettingen Pl., 2:41 a.m. July 27. Two men attacked a male pedestrian, hit him with an unknown object and fled.

ROBBERIES

Minnieville Rd., 14400 block, 1 p.m. July 31. A man entered a convenience store and forced an employee to open a cash register at gunpoint. He took the cash.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Rhode Island Dr., 5700 block, 9:11 a.m. July 26. A man pulled down his pants and exposed himself to an 80-year-old woman out for a walk.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bayside Ave., 1200 block, 11:59 p.m. July 27. A male attempted to enter two occupied apartments through a patio door, but he was confronted by residents in one apartment and fled.

Colony Pl., 15200 block, 5 a.m.-4 p.m. July 30. An apartment was entered. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing was reported stolen.

Hollow Wind Way, 13900 block, 3 p.m. July 26 to noon July 27. Clothing, cash and keys were stolen from an apartment entered by force. A vehicle was also stolen; it was later recovered in the District.

Kendall Dr., 4500 block, June 4-July 3. Jewelry was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry. The burglary was reported July 31.
