All campuses of Northern Virginia Community College will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 17 for registration for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 21.
Student services centers, testing centers, business offices, bookstores, parking offices and student ID services will also be open.

For the fourth year, Carmello’s restaurant received Wine Spectator magazine’s Award of Excellence for its extensive Portuguese wine selection.
The Old Town Manassas restaurant offers more than 100 wines from various regions of Portugal.

As part of the accreditation process for the Manassas Police Department, a team from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies will be accepting public comment on the agency’s ability to comply with the commission’s standards.
