One dead, two injured in two-vehicle crash in Arlington

A Virginia woman was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in Arlington.

Officers responded at 5:15 p.m. to the crash on Arlington Boulevard at Manchester Street. Arlington County police identified the victim as Marilou Jocson, 63, of Arlington.

She was in critical condition when taken to the hospital, where she later died, authorities said. Jocson had been a passenger in the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle Jocson was riding in, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, also was taken to the hospital, police said, along with a passenger of the other vehicle. That passenger was in critical but stable condition, police said.

The crash is under investigation.
