The D.C. police, after an apparent display of dogged detective work, have announced two more arrests in the recent case of a purloined poodle.

The dog, named Diva, was grabbed Aug. 3 on Fitch Street SE, police said. The dog was recovered Sunday, and a woman was charged with receiving stolen property, they said.

In the latest development in the case of the pilfered pooch, police said Friday that Acoyia Williams, 33, and Esther Annette Tyson, 53, both of Southeast, have been charged with robbery by force.
