D.C. police investigate triple shooting in Shaw

D.C. police are investigating a drive-by shooting that wounded three men Saturday night.

The shooting occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of 8th Street NW, in the Shaw neighborhood, police said.

The victims were conscious and transported to local hospitals for injuries that did not appear to be life threatening, police said.

Police said the shots came from inside black 2016 Mazda hatchback with a New York license plate “HER3782.”

Police initially described the vehicle as an Acura SUV.

A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the shooting.
