Police are looking for three people in connection with an assault in Northwest Washington in which a man was beaten with a bat.

D.C. police released a surveillance video showing the assault, which occurred around 8:30 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Seventh Street NW, near Georgia Avenue.

In the video, two people are seen talking, one holding a bat. Seconds later, others come on the scene. Several of the people are seen pushing, then beating the victim with a bat and appearing to step on his face.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case, police said.
