Five adults and four dogs were displaced after a fire in Northwest Washington, officials said.

No one was injured, according to D.C. Fire and EMS. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the blaze at the two-story apartment in the 3700 block of 9th Street NW.

Some streets in the area were closed as crews were on the scene.
