Flights were delayed at Reagan National Airport after an airplane blew out several tires during landing Saturday afternoon, the FAA and airport officials said.
No one was injured in the incident, officials said. Crews were working to transport passengers from the plane to the main terminal at the airport.
Airport officials asked travelers to check with their airlines for the latest information on their flight status. Departures were delayed nearly one hour and 45 minutes and arrivals were more than 30 minutes behind schedule, according to Flightaware.com.
