A man was found fatally shot after an argument in Maryland.

Prince George’s County police said the incident happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 5400 block of Joel Lane near the Capital Beltway in Temple Hills. When officers arrived, they found the victim in a driveway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the shooting was “not a random crime” and that there is not a “threat to the community.”

Police later identified the victim as Adrian Trice, 39, and they arrested and charged Jared Wilson, 37, in the homicide. Both men are from Temple Hills.

An initial investigation found that the two men knew each other, according to police. Wilson is charged with first- and second-degree murder. He is being held without bond.

The D.C. region has seen more than 175 homicides so far this year, according to tracking by The Washington Post. Of those, 62 have been in Prince George’s County.
