Two men who offered a child candy in an attempt to lure her into a car in Northwest Washington are being sought by D.C. police, authorities said.

Two men in a white sedan or small white SUV approached the girl in the 3900 block of Argyle Terrace NW about 7 p.m., police said in a statement.

One was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 70, with short, gray hair, green eyes and a beetle-shaped tattoo on the back of his neck. The other was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 60, with white hair and a nose ring. “Both individuals are described as having an accent,” police said.
