D.C. police on Monday identified a 62-year-old woman as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday on H Street in Northeast Washington.

The victim, Jewel Lewis Hall of Northeast Washington, was pronounced dead at a hospital after the accident, which occurred about 11:10 a.m. at 10th and H streets.

Police said Hall was crossing H Street when she was struck by a gray Honda Odyssey whose driver was turning left off 10th Street and onto H Street. Police said Hall was trapped under the vehicle.

Authorities did not say whether the vehicle or the pedestrian had the right of way. The driver was not identified and no charges have been filed. But police said the circumstances remain under investigation.
