Authorities have identified a man who was struck and killed by a driver last weekend on the Arlington Memorial Bridge.

The U.S. Park Service said Robert M. Quinn, 47, of Leicester, England, was walking on the bridge about 7:30 a.m. Saturday when he was fatally struck. Anna Rose, a spokeswoman for the Park Service, said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

No further details about the crash were released.

There were several other traffic incidents in recent days, including ones involving pedestrians, that left four others dead.
