Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man who was found wounded in his car outside his home, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 7200 block of Joplin Street for a reported shooting about 11:35 p.m., according to Prince George’s County Police.

When officers arrived, they found Oscar Colindres Garcia, 37, suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. Garcia was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.

Detectives are investigating a motive and suspects in the case. They planned to canvass the area for tips Thursday evening.
