Law enforcement officials are investigating two unrelated shooting incidents that left three people dead in Prince George’s County on Sunday, authorities said.

Prince George’s County police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that took place inside a townhouse in the 30 block of Joycetown Way in Largo. The shootings, reported to the police at around 10 a.m., involved a man and woman who were living together, police said.

Officer Michael Owen, a department spokesman, said the man appears to have shot the woman before killing himself. The other people inside the home at the time were not injured.

Police are investigating the couple’s relationship and said additional information about the shooting would be released soon.

U.S. Park Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 1:15 a.m. in the parking lot of the Fort Washington Marina.

Sgt. Anna Rose, a spokeswoman for the park police, said a woman was killed, and a man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. He is in stable condition, she said.
