ASSAULTS

Gibbs St., 100 block, 1:24 a.m. Nov. 28. Several people assaulted a male.

Maple Ave., 1100 block, 10:37 p.m. Nov. 29. A male assaulted a male pedestrian.

Veirs Mill Rd., 900 block, 10:13 to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 27. A 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with second-degree assault.

Veirs Mill Rd., 2000 block, 1:16 a.m. Nov. 29. Five males chased and assaulted a male pedestrian.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bradley Ave., 300 block, 8:30 a.m. Nov. 21 to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 25. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a side door.

Cabin John Pkwy., 800 block, 2:15 to 8:39 p.m. Nov. 25. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by force through a front door.

Denham Rd., 400 block, 5 a.m. Nov. 26 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 1. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a basement door.

Grand Oak Way, 1000 block, 7:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 30. A purse, a Metro SmarTrip card and cash were stolen from three unlocked vehicles.

Hurley Ave., 200 block, 6 to 9:45 a.m. Nov. 30. Two purses were stolen from a locked vehicle.

King Farm Blvd., 500 block, noon Nov. 27 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 29. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Marshall Ave., 1600 block, 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 27. A purse containing a wallet and credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Maryland Ave., unit block, 3 to 3:06 p.m. Nov. 25. A man reported that his cellphone had been stolen from a table while he was making copies.

Pleasant Dr., 1100 block, 6:40 to 6:55 p.m. Nov. 27. A male and a female, both 14-years-old, were arrested in connection with theft.

Ridgemont Ave., 600 block, 2:15 p.m. Nov. 27 to 9:27 a.m. Nov. 28. An iPod and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Rockville Pike, 1000 block, 5:15 to 5:16 p.m. Nov. 27. Someone took a pair of prescription eyeglass frames from a business.

WEAPONS

Lewis Ave. and Halpine Rd., 2:04 to 2:20 p.m. Nov. 27. An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with possession of a concealed dangerous weapon (a knife) and possession of marijuana.

Wootton Pkwy., 2100 block, 11 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27. Two 15-year-old females were arrested in connection with possession of a concealed dangerous weapon (a stun device) at school.
