Broomes Island Rd., Jan. 6. Ten boat motors that had been stolen from a marina over the past six months were found at a scrap yard. A suspect in the thefts has been identified.

Lakeview Dr., 11 p.m. Jan. 7 to 7 a.m. Jan. 8. A laptop computer and cash were stolen from two vehicles parked at a residence.
Lancer Ct., 11:30 p.m. Jan. 10 to 6 a.m. Jan. 11. A 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a residential garage.
Southern Maryland Blvd., 9 p.m. Jan. 11 to 6 a.m. Jan. 12. An athletic field, a lawn and a fence were damaged at a park by a municipal truck that had been stolen from a locked area there. The truck was damaged in the incident; it was abandoned after being driven up a small hill and allowed to roll back down.
Side Saddle Lane, 12:30 p.m. Jan. 10. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Two males were seen fleeing the area.

Hallowing Point Rd., Jan. 7 to Jan. 9. A stereo and speakers were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
Solomons Island Rd., 3 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13. Electronic items were stolen from a vehicle parked in a shopping center parking lot.
Solomons Island Rd., 8:49 a.m. Jan. 12. Responding to a report of a man in a shopping center parking lot looking into vehicles and pulling on door handles, police arrested Prince Frederick man, 32.
Butterfly Pl., 2600 block, 8:15 a.m. Jan. 15. A DVD player, a video game system, a purse and cash were among property stolen from a home.
Dick Simmons Pl., 3000 block, 12:22 a.m. Jan. 16. A woman returning to her home saw a man sitting on a couch in the living room. Property had been stolen, food had been eaten and personal items had been used. An Indian Head man, 48, was charged with burglary.
Clark’s Run, 9 p.m. Jan. 12 to 6 a.m. Jan. 13. Doors of several vehicles were damaged by being kicked.
King’s Grant, 9 p.m. Jan. 12 to 6 a.m. Jan. 13. A vehicle was damaged.
Riverside Rd., 12300 block, Jan. 14 to Jan. 15. Electronic items and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A headlight bulb, a charger and a tennis racket were among property stolen from another vehicle in the driveway, which was entered by use of a spare key.
Shirley Blvd., 7600 block, Dec. 15 to Jan. 16. A television, a DVD player and fishing poles were stolen from a boat.
Bannister Cir., 1000 block, 3:52 p.m. Jan. 15. A man driving in the area was grazed by gunshot that shattered a vehicle window.
Brookside Pl., 100 block, Jan. 6 to 13. Copper piping was stolen from a vacant residence.
Ell Lane, 12100 block, 7 a.m. Jan. 16. A vacant apartment was entered by forcing a door. A man seen coming out of a window of the apartment was arrested. An Accokeek man, 25, was charged with burglary, destruction of property and trespassing.
Mattawoman Dr., 12500 block, 2:20 a.m. Jan. 15. Responding to a report of a break-in at a liquor store, police saw a white van driving away from the area. The van was later seen in the parking lot of a liquor store on Crain Highway. Three men fled from the vehicle when police officers approached it. Two were arrested after a brief foot chase. A West Virginia man, 33, and a D.C. man, 27, were charged with attempted burglary.
Mattawoman-Beantown Rd., 3100 block, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 15. An air bag was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
Montgomery Lane, 11900 block, 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Jan. 16. A video game system and a knife made from a deer antler were stolen from a residence.
Old Washington Rd., 2700 block, 11 p.m. Jan. 11 to 6 a.m. Jan. 12. Four wheels and a battery were stolen from a vehicle. Windows of two other vehicles were shattered, but nothing was reported missing.
Red Lion Pl., 2700 block, Dec. 18 to Jan. 16. An HVAC unit was stolen from a vacant residence.
Terri Dr., 1700 block, 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 14. A muzzle loader, a tree stand, hunting gear and a bowling ball were stolen from a truck.
Rodine Way, Jan. 12. During an argument, a man struck an acquaintance. A Lexington Park man, 27, was charged with second-degree assault. No serious injuries were reported.
Mary Valinda Lane, Jan. 10. During an argument, a woman hit an acquaintance in the mouth. A Mechanicsville woman, 39, was charged with second-degree assault.
