Main St., 9:25 p.m. June 5. A man lent his vehicle to another male and a female, and it was never returned. The vehicle was found in Anne Arundel County.
Solomons Island Rd., 9:20 p.m. June 8. A man assaulted a female in a bar at a hotel. An Alaska man, 39, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
Solomons Island Rd., June 5 to June 6. Welding tanks and a six-pack of soda were stolen from the bed of a truck parked at a hotel. Then tanks were found under a tree.
Forest Rd., June 8 to June 9. A tool set was stolen from an unlocked garage and cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Oriole Way, 2:08 a.m. June 5. An unlocked garage and an unlocked vehicle were entered at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
Dalrymple Rd., May 26 to June 2. Two riding lawn mowers were stolen from a barn.
Bolingbrook Ct., 2500 block, 11:40 p.m. June 10. A man, 31, was shot in the upper body while getting out of his vehicle in front of his home. The shooter fled. The man was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Crain Hwy., 6200 block, 11:35 p.m. June 10. A man entered a convenience store, implied that he had a gun, robbed a clerk of cash and fled. A North Carolina man, 48, was charged with robbery.
Charles St., 12100 block, 4:40 p.m. June 10. A driver backed into a porch post at a day-care center where children were waiting to be picked up, and fled. A Hughesville woman, 22, was charged with 16 traffic offenses, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bel Alton Rd., April 20 to June 9. Copper was stolen from a vacant residence.
Crain Hwy., 3100 block, 4 a.m. June 5. A security guard saw a man in the parking lot of a car dealership hiding between two vehicles. The man fled into the woods when he was seen. Investigation revealed the man had stolen rims and tires from a Cadillac Escalade. A D.C. man, 27, was charged with burglary.
Festival Way, 4 p.m. May 30. Three men grabbed cellphones from a display case at a wireless telephone store, and fled. The men also went to a wireless phone store at Market Place and stole more cellphones from a display case. Two Waldorf men, both 18, and a 27-year-old Waldorf man were charged with theft.
Lamprey Ct., 5200 block, June 8. A camera and a lens were stolen from a vehicle.
Crain Hwy., 3000 block, 2 a.m. June 5. During a patrol of a parking lot, police saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant. Investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from Montgomery County. A man and a woman were arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. A 4-year-old boy found in the vehicle was taken to a relative.
Abell Dr., June 7. During an argument, a man pulled an acquaintance out of a bed, causing her to fall and hurt her knee. A California man, 47, was charged with second-degree assault.
Fire Department Lane, April 24. During an argument in a parking lot, a woman punched and kicked an acquaintance and slapped and bit another person. A woman was charged with two counts of second-degree assault .
Piney Point Rd., June 6. During an argument, a man injured an acquaintance’s neck and knee. A California man, 22, was charged with second-degree assault.
Hurry Rd., June 7. During an argument, a woman grabbed an acquaintance’s arm and pushed the acquaintance. A Chaptico woman, 26, was charged with second-degree assault.
Point Lookout Rd., June 5. After an earlier disagreement with an acquaintance, a man attempted to run the acquaintance’s vehicle off the road. A Leonardtown man, 39, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Compass Cir., June 9. Officers responded to a call for a disturbance and saw a woman being thrown against a third-floor window. Investigation revealed that during an argument, a man chased the woman upstairs, punched through a bedroom door and threw the woman onto a bed causing injury to her knee. He placed his hands around her throat and threw her against the window. A Hermanville man, 32, was charged with second-degree assault.
Leonardtown, June 10. A woman placed a report for domestic and sexual assault at the sheriff’s office. During an argument, the woman said, she had been struck in the face and body and sexually assaulted but had broken free and fled the home. When officers arrived at the home, a Leonardtown man, 27, stabbed himself with a knife before officers could take him into custody. The man and woman were treated for their injuries, and the man was charged with first- and second-degree assault, first-degree sex offense and false imprisonment.
Foxchase Dr., June 9. A man at a residence punched a screen door and slammed the door on an acquaintance’s hand. A Lexington Park man, 52, was charged with destruction of property, disorderly conduct, second-degree assault, being intoxicated and endangering safety.
Saint Lo Pl., June 5. During an argument, a woman bit and hit an acquaintance in the head, knocking off the acquaintance’s glasses. A Lexington Park woman, 19, was charged with second-degree assault and destruction of property.
