Commerce Lane, 8:12 p.m. June 10. During a welfare check of a woman sitting on a guardrail, the woman pulled a steak knife from her purse and lunged toward a police officer. The officer pulled out his weapon, and the woman threw the knife at the officer. A woman, 66, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Gordon Dr., 5 a.m. June 8. A homeowner saw a male with a flashlight run from his house and flee in a vehicle. A vehicle in the home’s garage had been searched. Nothing was reported missing.

H.G. Trueman Rd., 9:26 p.m. June 8. A convenience store employee was robbed at gunpoint.
Old Washington Rd., 2200 block, 1:39 p.m. June 17. During an argument, a woman stabbed an acquaintance with scissors. A Fredericksburg, Va., woman, 21, was charged with first- and second-degree assault. The acquaintance, 19, was taken to a hospital.
Marshall Rd., 5:52 p.m. June 18. Investigating a report about a male looking through vehicle windows, officers found a man hiding in a back yard. Cellphones, cash, clothes and jewelry had been stolen from at least 12 vehicles. A man, 20, was charged with theft.
Three Notch Rd., May 9. A man demanded cash and other property from two people at a hotel. He put a gun to the head of one of them and told him to walk away, and then fled. A Lexington Park man was arrested June 18 and charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of first-degree assault.
Guenther Dr., June 17. An unlocked vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.
Hills Dr., June 17. Someone shot a front door at a residence with a pellet gun.
