Anchor Lane, 8 a.m. Dec. 15 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 22. Unknown person(s) attempted to enter a residence by force through a front door and rear garage door.

Six Gun Cir., 3 p.m. Dec. 23 to 8:30 a.m. Dec. 24. A 14-foot red canoe and three wooden oars were stolen.

Pine Blvd., 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Dec. 21. A double-pane window was broken in the rear of a residence.

BRYANS ROAD AREA
HOME INVASION/SHOOTING

Marshall Hall Rd., 7:41 p.m. Dec. 26. Two males kicked open a front door and demanded cash from a man at gunpoint. Another resident inside the home shot one of the gunmen. The assailants were found nearby; one of them suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. Police said the incident was not a random home invasion.

NANJEMOY AREA
HOMICIDE

Bowie Rd., 8300 block, 4 p.m. Dec. 23. A man shot and killed his neighbor during an argument. The assailant fled from the neighbor’s house to a wooded area nearby and was arrested. A 33-year-old Nanjemoy man was charged with first- and second-degree murder and other offenses.

WALDORF AREA
THEFTS-BREAK-INS

Amber Leaf Dr. and St. Thomas Dr., Dec. 22. Car radios and tires were stolen from multiple vehicles entered by force.

Berry Rd., 11500 block, 3:07 a.m. Dec. 13. A male outside a gas station fled in a customer’s vehicle after the customer left the engine running and went inside to make a purchase. The vehicle was found abandoned nearby.

Hadley Dr., 2700 block, Dec. 12. A 17-year-old Waldorf male was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and other related charges in connection with multiple burglaries in the Holly Station neighborhood.

Old Washington Rd., 3700 block, 5 a.m.-8 p.m. Dec. 21. Car batteries were stolen from multiple vehicles entered by force at a Park and Ride lot.

Mount Wolf Rd., 38000 block, Dec. 21. A 20-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with third- and fourth-degree burglary, violation of a protective order, and malicious destruction of property.

ROBBERY ARREST

Potomac Way, 30500 block, 9:13 p.m. Dec. 13. A 28-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, both of Mechanicsville, were arrested Dec. 27 and charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft in connection with a robbery in a parking lot at a discount retail store. The man was also charged with accessory after the fact to a felony.

Fairgrounds Rd., 42000 block, 4:50 p.m. Dec. 22. A county fairgrounds office was entered.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA
ASSAULTS

Compass Cir., 48000 block, Dec. 20. A 46-year-old Lexington Park man was arrested in connection with pushing a man to the ground and causing an injury. He was charged with second-degree assault.

Hilton Dr., 46000 block, Dec. 20. A 40-year-old Lexington Park man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
