THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Southern Maryland Blvd., 10100 block, 9 a.m. Jan. 9 to 8:45 a.m. Jan. 10. A rear registration plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Deer Trail Dr., 3:30-4:40 p.m. Jan. 14. A black-and-lime-green mountain bike was stolen from a garage at a residence.

LUSBY AREA
ATTEMPTED MURDER

Antelope Trail, 500 block, 11:22 a.m. Jan. 17. A 27-year-old Lusby man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with an incident with his father. The injured father was in critical condition.

OWINGS AREA
DAMAGED PROPERTY

Hall Ct., Jan. 14. Several Christmas lights were knocked over in the back yard of a residence.

ST. LEONARD AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Long Beach Rd., noon Jan. 5 to 11 a.m. Jan. 12. A residence was entered by force, and property was damaged. Nothing was reported missing.

Palmer Pl., 3000 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 9. A 25-year-old Waldorf man was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder. He was arrested Jan. 16.

WALDORF AREA
ROBBERY

Mall Cir., 11000 block, 8:30 p.m. Jan. 15. A man walked up to a drive-through window and ordered food at a fast-food restaurant. When the employee opened the register to retrieve change, the man reached through the window, grabbed cash from the register and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Carroll Dr., 11200 block, 11:52 a.m. Jan. 11. A 23-year-old Fort Washington woman and a 24-year-old Upper Marlboro woman were arrested and charged with mail theft.

Mattawoman Beantown Rd., 2500 block, 7:20 p.m. Jan. 12 to 8:15 a.m. Jan. 13. Multiple electronic items were stolen from a residence.

St. Patrick's Dr., 5 a.m. Jan. 15. Cigarettes and rolls of coins were stolen from a business entered by force.

Chancellors Run Rd., 21000 block, Jan. 7. A 46-year-old Great Mills man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

Great Mills Rd., 23000 block, Jan. 8. A 19-year-old Lexington Park man was arrested and charged with trespassing on school grounds, possession of a dangerous weapon on school property and carrying a concealed dangerous weapon.

Willows Rd., 20000 block, Jan. 13. A woman was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

ARREST

Lexington Park area, Jan. 12. A 21-year-old Lexington Park man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with first-degree burglary and theft.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA
ARRESTS

Mechanicsville area, Jan. 10. An 18-year-old Mechanicsville man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a violent crime, theft, and rogue and vagabond.

Golden Beach Rd., 38000 block, Jan. 9. A 39-year-old California man was arrested after a traffic incident. He was charged with attempting to elude police, failing to stop, and served an outstanding felony warrant for violating probation/armed robbery.
