Solomons Island Rd., 6200 block, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 15 to 8 a.m. Jan. 16. An attempt was made to enter a restaurant by force.

LUSBY AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Rousby Hall Rd., 11700 block, Jan. 18. A 22-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both of Lusby, were arrested at a pharmacy and charged with theft ($100 to under $1,500), theft (less than $100), disorderly conduct and failure to obey reasonable/lawful order of a law enforcement officer.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Solomons Island Rd. N., 800 block, 8:45 p.m. Jan. 21. A man entered a discount retail store, took a Samsung HDTV off the shelf and fled through the fire emergency doors.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Solomons Island Rd. N., 6400 block, 1:15 p.m. Jan. 12 to 4 p.m. Jan. 15. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle at a park and ride.

ASSAULT

St. Thomas Dr., 2000 block, 3:10 p.m. Jan. 22. A 36-year-old Waldorf man was charged with assault and resisting arrest.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crain Hwy., 3000 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 18. A 24-year-old Upper Marlboro man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, burglary and theft.

Duckwalk Ct. and Wintergreen Pl., 3:20 p.m. Jan. 23 to 7:05 a.m. Jan. 24. Property was stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Mattawoman Beantown Rd., 8:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 18. Four chrome wheels and a headlamp were stolen from a vehicle in a park and ride.

Waldorf and Indian Head areas, Jan. 20-23. A 19-year-old Waldorf man was arrested and charged with armed robbery, theft, and first- and second-degree assault.

Ellenbee Ct., 46000 block, Jan. 19. A 31-year-old Lexington Park man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

Keel Dr., 48000 block, Jan. 19. A 30-year-old Clements woman was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (not marijuana) and resisting/interfering with an arrest.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA
ASSAULT

Holt Lane, 26000 block, Jan. 19. A 37-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with home invasion, second-degree assault, fourth-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, theft and resisting arrest.
