DUNKIRK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Palisades Dr., May 5. A man reported two of his gold rings were stolen in mid-January. One of the rings held a three-carat diamond; the other, five small diamonds.

Town Center Blvd., 10600 block, May 2. An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal socks, tank top T-shirts, underwear and an RCA converter box at a store.

Duchess Lane, midnight to 7 a.m. April 30. The left rear passenger window of a vehicle was damaged.

ARREST

Fifth St., April 30. A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and second-degree assault on law enforcement officer.

PROPERTY DAMAGED

Sheridan Dr., April 30. A basement glass door was damaged.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Uncle Charlie’s Spur, 8:45 p.m. May 2 to 8 a.m. May 3. A Ford Fusion was stolen from the driveway at a residence.

PORT REPUBLIC AREA
VANDALISM

Holly Dr., May 5. A resident found eggs smashed on the siding of the house and a bag containing feces on the front porch.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Calvert Towne Dr., May 2. A back door was kicked in at a vacant residence. Nothing was reported missing.

HOMICIDE

Stream Vista Pl., 2200 block, 10 p.m. May 1. A 20-year-old Waldorf man was shot and killed. Police say the shooting was not random.

MacArthur Blvd., 22000 block, March 16. A 45-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault and concealing a dangerous weapon.

Jay Dee Ct., 45000 block, March 16. A 60-year-old Great Mills man was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
