Chaney Rd., March 31. Mail was removed from a mailbox. Some pieces of mail were found on the ground.

Alogonquin Trail, March 29. Deck furniture was stolen from a home.

H.G. Trueman Rd., March 27. Two shirts were stolen from a package that had been delivered to a mailbox.

Rimrock Rd., March 29. Deck furniture was stolen from a home.

Soller’s Wharf Rd., March 30. A license plate was removed from a vehicle.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

Hisperia Rd., 11 a.m. April 6. Orange paint was sprayed on the side panel of a vehicle, and it appeared that something was added to the gas tank to cause the vehicle to shake and sputter when driven.

McMichael’s Dr., April 4. A vehicle was driven through a yard, destroying trees.

White Sands Dr., April 1. A vehicle window was shattered.

Archers Lane, March 29. A generator was stolen from a shed.

Coxtown Lane, March 29. Tools, including a lawn mower, a pressure washer, a leaf blower, an ax and a tiller, were stolden from a shed.

SOLOMON’S ISLAND AREA

Solomon’s Island, April 1. Items for a children’s raffle at a church were stolen from the church lobby. A Prince Frederick man, 38, and woman, 37, were charged with second- and fourth-degree burglary and theft of less than $100.

California, April 12. A wallet was stolen from someone at a movie theater.

Secluded Way, March 29. Two men stole HVAC units from an unoccupied house. Two Waldorf men, 24 and 36, were charged with theft of more than $1,000 and theft of less than $10,000, malicious destruction of property and fourth-degree burglary.

Merchant Lane, March 31. A woman at a grocery store took a package of meet, damaged it and tried to return it for full value. A Waldorf woman, 47, was charged with theft of less than $100, destruction of property and a false statement to an officer. She also was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in an earlier theft case.

ASSAULTS

Morning Side Lane, April 1. During an argument, a woman scratched an acquaintance’s cheek. A Lexington Park woman, 26, was charged with second-degree assault.

Langley Rd., March 31. Toilet paper was stolen from a soup kitchen. A California woman, 36, was charged with theft of less than $100 and issued a no-trespassing notice for the facility.

Three Notch Rd., April 6. Property was stolen from a liquor store.

Liberty St., April 12. An attempt was made to steal a motorcycle.
