Teen seriously wounded in shooting at Oxon Hill bus stop

A 17-year-old boy was shot multiple times late Wednesday at a bus stop in Oxon Hill, Prince George’s County police said.

The teen was taken to an area hospital and remained in serious condition on Thursday morning.

The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Lindsay Road at about 11:30 p.m. It was initially reported as an attempted robbery, but police said they are no longer certain about that.

Police said they are looking for three or four men believed to have approached the victim before the shooting.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department.
