Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, Xi Omega chapter, hosted the 2012 Womens and Girls’ conference at the Catholic University of America on Mar. 10. The day long conference included workshops and speakers to raise awareness and offer resources to improve the social, economic and political opportunities for women and girls in the Washington, D.C. community.
