Two people stabbed near H Street in Northeast
Two males stabbed each other Wednesday night during a fight that happened near the bustling nightlife of a Northeast neighborhood.
D.C. police responded to the 900 block of 7th Street, about a block from H Street commercial corridor, for the report of a stabbing about 8:30 p.m., said Officer Hugh Carew, a spokesman. Officers found a man with suffering from serious stab wounds at that location, but later found a second victim who fled the scene to the 800 block of 9th Street.
The second victim’s age and condition were not immediately clear, but officials believed neither victims’ wounds appeared to be life threatening.
Authorities arrested both men and charged them with assault with a deadly weapon, Carew said.
