Winning Powerball ticket sold in Virginia

Someone in Virginia is waking up more than $200 million richer this morning.

Virginia lottery officials confirm that one winning ticket was sold in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing.

All six numbers, including the Powerball, were drawn, making one lucky ticket worth a grand prize of $217,200,000.

The winning numbers were 05-27-36-38-41, with a Powerball of 12.

Officials said that the winning ticket was sold in the Richmond area, but so far the player has not come forward.
