Woodbridge 12-year-old girl grabbed by man through open window

A 12-year-old Woodbridge girl was awoken early Sunday by a man who grabbed her through an open window, Prince William County police said Monday.

Police responded to a call about 3:20 a.m. at a home in the 1400 block of Horner Road. No property was stolen or injuries reported. The girl was asleep in her bedroom when she awakened to find a man grabbing her through the window, police said. The girl screamed and the suspect fled on foot, said police, who could not immediately track the suspect using a K9 dog. Police do not have a detailed description of the man.

Anyone with information relating to the case is asked to call Crime Solvers at 703-670-3700 or 1-866-411-TIPS.
